Guide to registration & fees

Between Sunday, July 8th and Thursday, July 19th the Institute of Computer Science of the Univeristy of Wrocław will host around 15 colocated events — conferences and workshops. This is why the registration form looks a bit complicated. So, before you fill it please note that:

• a participant who is going to give a talk on event E is expected to register for event E (with the following exception: if you have both a LICS and an ICALP paper, then it is enough if you register for one of these conferences in its extended version);
• registering for any event which covers day X gives you the right to attend the talks of all the events of day X, together with coffee and lunch (lunches are included in the fees between Sunday July 8th and Sunday July 15th);
• for participants registering for overlapping events, some deductions apply: typically, if you register for two (or more) events scheduled for day X, you will get 25 Euro (EUR) discount per every overlapping day for the second (and each next) event;
• ICALP and LICS are both 5-day with 4 day overlap. All the social events are joint and take place during the overlap days. ICALP participants who want to attend the last day of LICS (LICS participants who want to attend the first day of ICALP) have an option of ICALP extended to full LICS (respectively, LICS extended to full ICALP). The fee for the extension includes also the proceedings of the second conference. Consequently, the fee of ICALP extended to full LICS, covers exactly the same as the fee of LICS extended to full ICALP, with the only exception that, in the case of the member variant, LICS extended to full ICALP does not include EATCS membership (30 Euro);
• the only accepted payment method is by credit card;
• students are required to fax a proof of student status (our fax number is +48-71-37-57-801);
• late registration fees are in most cases about 25% higher than early fees;
• In the registration form you can book a room in some of our partner hotels. Note that you do not pay us for the hotel, you pay at the hotel. Please, note also that not all partner hotels are listed in the registration form (see "Accommodation" for the complete list).

Cancellation policy

Your registration can be cancelled not later than on June 10th. Cancellation fee of 70 euro will be applied in such a case.

Summary of fees

All the prices listed here are in Euro (EUR).

Early registration fees apply until May 31st.

Participants from Poland who wish to pay in PLN should convert their fees calculated in EURO using the exchange rate of 3.80 zł/€.

Conferences

“Member” fees apply to:

• IEEE members or ASL members in the case of LICS and LICS extended to full ICALP
• EATCS members in the case of ICALP and ICALP extended to full LICS
• ACM members in the case of PPDP

Workshops

Main conferences

ICALP

The fee covers:

• right to attend ICALP talks and all the talks of colocated events held from Monday July 9th till Friday July 13th;
• a copy of ICALP proceedings;
• lunches and coffee breaks from Monday July 9th till Friday July 13th;
• social events (shared with LICS):
  • welcome reception (Tuesday),
  • excursion with open-air picnic (Wednesday) (the organizers keep the right to cancel the picnic, in the case of really bad weather),
  • cocktail party on Thursday evening;
• one year EATCS membership fee (30 Euro); if you do not want EATCS membership you may choose the appropriate option, but then you will be charged HIGHER, non-member fee.

The preferred registration category for non-students is "EATCS Member". If you are not yet an EATCS member, you may become one automatically just by registering under this category, and then benefit from the reduced fee. The ICALP organization will then forward your data to the EATCS for administrative processing.

If you already are a member of the EATCS, notice that the EATCS member registration category includes a one year membership fee. This will apply even if you have already paid your EATCS fee for 2007: in that case, you will be granted a one year membership in advance.

ICALP extended to full LICS

The fee covers exactly the same as for ICALP plus:

• right to attend LICS talks on Saturday July 14th and all the talks of colocated events held on this day;
• a copy of LICS proceedings;
  
• lunch and coffee breaks on Saturday July 14th.
  

LICS

The fee covers:

• right to attend LICS talks and all the talks of colocated events held from Tuesday July 10th till Saturday July 14th;
• a copy of LICS proceedings;
• lunches and coffee breaks from Tuesday July 10th till Saturday July 14th;
• social events (shared with ICALP):
  • welcome reception (Tuesday),
  • excursion with open-air picnic (Wednesday) (the organizers keep the right to cancel the picnic in the case of really bad weather),
  • cocktail party on Thursday evening.

LICS extended to full ICALP

The fee covers the same as for LICS plus:

• right to attend ICALP talks on Monday July 9th and all the talks of colocated events held on this day;
• a copy of ICALP proceedings;
• lunch and coffee breaks on Monday July 9th.

Logic Colloquium

The fee covers:

• right to attend Logic Colloquium talks and all the talks of colocated events held from Saturday July 14th till Thursday July 19th;
• lunches on Saturday July 14th and on Sunday July 15th and coffee breaks from Saturday July 14th till Thursday July 19th;
• Logic Colloquium reception.

Deductions:

If you register also for LICS (or for ICALP plus extension to full LICS) then 30 euro will be deducted from your total fee.

PPDP and the second weekend workshops

PPDP

The fee covers:

• right to attend PPDP talks and all the talks of colocated events held from Saturday July 14th till Monday July 16th;
• lunches on Saturday July 14th and on Sunday July 15th and coffee breaks from Saturday July 14th till Monday July 15th;
• PPDP reception;
• a copy of PPDP proceedings.

Deductions:

If you register also for LICS (or for ICALP plus extension to full LICS) then 25 euro will be deducted from your total fee.

TRSH

The fee covers:

• right to attend TRSH talks and all the talks of colocated events held on Saturday July 14th and on Sunday July 15th;
• lunches and coffee on Saturday July 14th and on Sunday July 15th;

Deductions:

If you register also for PPDP or for Logic Colloquium then 50 euro will be deducted from your total fee. Otherwise, if you register also for LICS (or for ICALP plus extension to full LICS) then 25 euro will be deducted from your total fee.

TMCNAA

The fee covers:

• right to attend TMCNAA talks and all the talks of colocated events held on Sunday July 15th;
• lunch and coffee on Sunday July 15th.

Deductions:

If you register also for one of the following:

• PPDP
• Logic Colloquium

then 25 euro will be deducted from your total fee.

DCM

The fee covers:

• right to attend DCM talks and all the talks of colocated events held on Sunday July 15th;
• lunch and coffee on Sunday July 15th.

Deductions:

If you register also for one of the following:

• PPDP
• Logic Colloquium

then 25 euro will be deducted from your total fee.

LCC

The fee covers:

• right to attend LCC talks and all the talks of colocated events held on Sunday July 15th;
• lunch and coffee on Sunday July 15th.

Deductions:

If you register also for one of the following:

then 25 euro will be deducted from your total fee.

The first weekend workshops

FCS-ARSPA

The fee covers:

• right to attend FCS-ARSPA talks and all the talks of colocated events held on Sunday July 8th;
• lunches and coffee on Sunday July 8th.

WCAN

The fee covers:

• right to attend WCAN talks and all the talks of colocated events held on Sunday July 8th;
• lunch and coffee on Sunday July 8th.

SOS

The fee covers:

• right to attend SOS talks and all the talks of colocated events held on Monday July 9th;
• lunch and coffee on Monday July 9th;
• workshop preproceedings.

Deductions:

If you register also for ICALP (or for LICS plus extension to full ICALP) then 25 euro will be deducted from your total fee.

GOCP

The fee covers:

• right to attend GOCP talks and all the talks of colocated events held on Monday July 9th;
• lunch and coffee on Monday July 9th.

Deductions:

If you register also for ICALP (or for LICS plus extension to full ICALP) then 25 euro will be deducted from your total fee.

PAuL

The fee covers:

• right to attend PAuL talks and all the talks of colocated events held on Monday July 9th;
• lunch and coffee on Monday July 9th.

Deductions:

If you register also for ICALP (or for LICS plus extension to full ICALP) then 25 euro will be deducted from your total fee.
